Creating your personal brand identity is not an easy task. I’m mean really? When you were 21 did you have all of these questions figured out? Who am I? What is my purpose? What do I want out of life? Of course not! Back then we worried about who liked us or not. Now we have to create a brand identity to be seen!
It’s True! To be visible and tell the world who you are and what you do, you need a personal brand identity. Unfortunately, some of us feel like frauds when we do this? Maybe some of us simply have no idea who we are or what we want. We have blocks, crutches, insecurities. Now you’re in your late 30’s to mid 40’s and wondering “what is this life all about”. IT’S TIME TO FIGURE IT OUT!
If you want a personal brand identity you need to KNOW WHO YOU ARE and WHAT YOU WANT. Defining your long term goals, identifying your value structure, and understanding your purpose is essential to your personal growth. If you don’t believe in destiny then it is possible once you do this you may realize that destiny is simply waiting for you to define it.
The process of creating a personal brand identity is a journey to self discovery. If you know yourself really well this process may be easy for you. For most of us it can be a struggle and can take a long time. It all depends how driven you are to get there. When you personally brand yourself you are “dressing-up’ your image for success. It’s just like putting on your best suit for the job interview of a lifetime.
Let me tell you this strait out… If you find your “voice” your tribe will follow you. People who are well branded online have gone through this process. You have to want it and be ready to step right into it.

Call it the Law of Attraction or whatever. If you showcase yourself how you really want to be you will become it. The days of feeling like a fraud are over and you’ll enjoy what you do so much more. Plus, it will be so much easier to market yourself and what you do.
You may be young professional and want the perfect job working as an Operations Manager. Your ideal audience are head hunters who work for large Corporations. Perhaps you are a certified Wellness Coach looking for women who are ready to lose weight. Whoever they are you need to identify them and define them. Create a personality profile of your audience so you know what their interests are, where they shop, what their philosophies are. When you know this you will be “speaking” directly to them. Your audience will resonate to you because your values and theirs will be in line with each other.
