Ginici Studios
PHOTOGRAPHY
Capturing the HEART of your business and setting the perfect pitch for your brand's voice.
Ginici Studios is a boutique commercial photography studio located in the beautiful town of San Luis Obispo (SLO). Nestled about twelve miles inland from the California coastline, SLO County is approximately three hours North of Los Angeles and three and a half hours South of San Francisco.
The studio was founded by Gina Nicole Cinardo, a photographer and brand strategist in 2010. The name Ginici is a play on the first two initials in her name and is pronounced [GHI-KNEE-CHI].
With an extensive background in visual communications for over 30 years Gina managed Headshots Photography Studio and worked for companies such as the Boeing Co. and Ball Aerospace. Her combined experience not only honed her photography and digital media skills, but also skills in leadership and management.
Having served such brands as In Trust Legal, Pearce Services, Hidden Consumer Consulting, and Allsaid and Dunn, to name a few, we can confidently say we are a brand and marketing studio because we do so much more than photography.
Our primary consideration is each client’s strategy and vision while thinking from the customer's point of view. We uncover the emotional connection that communicates how the brand helps improve their business or life and then capture it photographically.
"Gina is more than just a photographer. She has created a process to learn about you, your brand, your audience, and your business goals. So, before, you get in front of the camera, she does her homework. During your session, she makes sure to create images that reflect what your brand story is all about. Instead of being worried about your photo being taken, you actually relax and enjoy the process which results in the most Amazing photos!"

Lifelong conditioning has made us feel ashamed that something is wrong with us.
The camera starkly reminds them of their visible presence, triggering anxieties about appearance, self-expression, and the permanence of the captured image.
I can’t tell you how often I’ve heard someone say, “I hate having my picture taken.”
The pressure to present an idealized version of oneself can overshadow the ability to appear genuine and relaxed, ultimately making the experience daunting and unpleasant.
Acceptance, whether we think it’s good or bad, shows others that we don’t deny what we think is bad about ourselves but take it in as truth. With this truth, we no longer have to change those things we dislike to feel accepted. Our truth is hidden in our vulnerability.
If someone wants to show up more authentic, they must be willing to appear “bad” to themselves and others, even though the reality is that most people in their sphere of influence appreciate them for simply being their true selves.
MISSION
We strive to give entrepreneurs clarity and confidence in their contributions to the world. This enables them to embrace an authentic brand, embody it, and present it through exceptional brand photography.
PURPOSE
To showcase authentic leaders who show up transparent, demonstrate solid values, and exhibit empathy for their fellow human beings while striving to create genuine connections and serve others selflessly.
How we show up in the world makes a big difference in how we connect with others. When someone is motivated conditionally in areas of their life, they likely mask their true selves.
With the onset of AI, we face a big problem in the future. Trusting brands that are not fully transparent hurts the people they are serving.
Being authentic raises the frequency of our world, helps those we serve, and is more sustainable in living out the work we are meant to share with others.
