Learn how to get great business portraits:
How do you ensure a great first impression? Having self confidence in yourself and what you do shows others you have trust in your own powers and abilities. How is your Avatar online or your business marketing portraying you in your business? Sometimes the “Selfie” just doesn’t cut it, and leaving your Avatar blank is worse because your then appear like you don’t follow through with things (incomplete profile) or you are just simply uninteresting.
One of the best ways to make a good first impression is with great business portraits of yourself that is clear and engaging. Those images tell your story, how your going to communicate with your client, what your style is, and possibly where you are going from this point forward.
Nisa King, Health Coach/Juice Plus
Nisa wanted to communicate to her customer that she was friendly to work with of course, but I saw a sense of grace in her that I thought her clients would also resonate towards. She is a health coach so it was important to photograph her on location and outside and surrounded by nature. We wanted them to look professional and confident but fresh and light. Adi Ringer, Financial Advisor, Financial Resources
Adi wanted to get out of the stuffy suit and represent himself in more relaxed attire but at the same time still coming across as a professional. Without the tie we decided to shoot with a solid blue shirt and photograph him in the studio. I shot several poses both zooming in for a full head shot and pulling out to do more 3/4 shots. The 3/4 pose always looks a little more casual and so I posed him leaning on his knee which comes off relaxed but confident. Several shots in portrait landscape will allow Adi to use these great business portraits for marketing in many different ways.
