I know many women (including myself) tend to compare ourselves with everything and everyone we are surrounded by. I’m not as smart as she is, or we don’t have hair like her, a figure like her, a car like him, a wardrobe like theirs, and on and on. Why do we do this to ourselves? Once we get into this endless cycle we start to feel inferior of what we have and who we are.
I’ve realized that I am always a work in progress but I think part of how I am learning to love myself is to stop critically analyzing myself and instead focus on how to be a better and more fabulous me. I am grateful for everything I have and everything that I am; that is what makes me totally unique. That is what makes us all unique.
